GOLDEN GROVE GROUND SUPPORT AND RAISEDRILLING

29 METALS/EMR GOLDEN GROVE

EMR's Golden Grove Mine is located 450 kilometers Northwest of Perth in Western Australia's Gascoyne Region. The mine has been operating since 1990. The Golden Grove operation includes two operating underground mines, Gossan Hill and Scuddles. The project commenced with a Redbore 40 producing 1.1m slots and overtime expanded escapeways and boxholes. Shotcreting and fibrecreting joined the raisebore work utilizing a Jacon combo rig providing both an agitator and shotcrete machine as a combined unit reducing the equipment and personnel required underground.

Redpath continues operations at Golden Grove through contract extensions and new work including large diameter raise drilling for ventilation and box-holing operations.
